เป็นกิจกรรมที่ดึงดูดให้นักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทยและ ชาวต่างชาติได้มีส่วนร่วมตื่นตาตื่นใจ กับกิจกรรมมากมายภายในงาน อาทิ การออกร้านค้าจากกลุ่ม 2 ล้อ และร้านอาหารมากมาย , การแสดงจาก คาวบอย โชว์ , TATTOO โชว์ , สตั้น โชว์ , พารามาเตอร์ โชว์ , ขบวนแห่รอบเมือง , ร่วมตัดสินการประกวดรถมอเตอร์ไซด์ การประกวดมิสช็อปเปอร์ , และสนุกสุดมันกับคอนเสิร์ตจากนักร้องชื่อดังมากมาย

เมืองพัทยา ร่วมกับ ชมรมบูรพา มอเตอร์ไซค์ คลับ และการท่องเที่ยวแห่งประเทศไทย สำนักงานพัทยา กำหนดจัด “ โครงการขับขี่เพื่อสันติภาพ ครั้งที่ 6 ” ระหว่างวันที่ 13-14 กุมภาพันธ์ 2552 ณ สวนสาธารณะ ซอยชัยพฤกษ์ 2

การจัดการดังกล่าวจะสร้างภาพลักษณ์ที่ดีด้านการท่องเที่ยวของเมืองพัทยา ในอีกรูปแบบหนึ่ง และเป็นการรณรงค์ขับขี่ปลอดภัย โดยการเปิดไฟใส่หมวก พร้อมทั้งสร้างความสัมพันธ์ไมตรีระหว่างกลุ่มคนขับมอเตอร์ไซค์ ประชาสัมพันธ์การท่องเที่ยวเมืองพัทยาให้นักท่องเที่ยวได้รู้จักกันอย่างกว้างขวางยิ่งขึ้น และเป็นการร่วมทำกิจกรรม ของเยาวชน ไม่ไปมั่วสุมยาเสพติด

Pattaya Bike Week 2009

Pattaya Bike Week is exclusively organised and managed by the members of the

Burapha motorcycle club and their associates.The first event was put on in a distant field and was attended by the club and a few hundred friends. Year by year it has developed and grown into the extravaganza it is today.

Last Febuary the event was attended by an astonishing 30,000 people and over 10,000 motorcycles. These figures express the enormity of the growing popularity of motorcycling and of course the quality and appeal of the event. (ชมรมบูรพา มอเตอร์ไซด์ คลับ Burapha MC. )

Burapha MC.has always kept the event free in every respect and relies entirely on the goodwill of sponsors and the essential support of the people of Pattaya and its governors. The clear message that Burapha MC. puts out annually is that the event is a celebration of Peace in a gathering together of motorcyclists from Asia and the rest of the world in a spirit of friendship regardless of race , creed or club colours.

There is further emphasis on the anti drug message and encouragement for the young to get involved in the Honda C80 Classic motorcycle movement to help produce the safe and responsible big bike riders of tomorrow.The importance of the wearing of helmets and safe riding are also stressed during the event .Burapha MC. have also recognised that the size and importance of the event could also make it an important contributer to charities.

The celebrations start on...Thursday 12th Feb. A street party in Jomthien Soi4 which will feature local bands and possibly Jam sessions with visiting international stars.The party is free and ALL are welcome .Friday 13th. Feb. The main stadium opens in the grounds of Pattaya Indoor sports stadium in Soi Chaiyapruk of Sukhumvit Rd. This day features music, bands and dozens of stalls displaying food , clothing ,videos, motorcycle gear and many other things of interest.

Of course their will be booths featuring the finest custom motorcycles made plus the entire range of 09 Harley Davidsons.Saturday 14th Feb. This is the main event day and will have all of Fridays attractions plus displays of Paramotors, Wild West show, American car display, fire show and classic motorcycle display. There will be a huge parade of motorcycles around Pattaya at about noon . The evening will feature the best of Western and Thai rock music culminating in a performance from the immensely popular Carabao band.

In its entire history this event has always been peaceful and surpasses all other similar events in Thailand including those of Chiang Mai and Phuket in size and presentation and most importantly it is free.It is indeed an event that the City of Pattaya can be truly proud of and is for EVERYONE. PBW.attracts riders and visitors from all over the world and is extensively reported in trade magazines and newspapers worldwide.

The numbers of riders coming directly from neighbouring countries Malaysia and Singapore increases yearlyand this year will be in the hundreds. Attendencies last year recognised visitors from over 20 different countries.Motorcycles and music in a peaceful environment is a potent attraction for everyone and is a positive addition to the wonderful events the city puts on and will sure to become a very important date on the events calender.With further co-operation and support between Burapha MC. and the good people and governors of Pattaya PBW will become not only the biggest and best bike event in Thailand but in Asia.
